Not to be weird or anything, but the taste of melted barbies and cheap lip balm is quite the turn on.

You seem to be having considerable problem with Coke recently.

It's true, I have a huge Coke problem. My therapist's trying to wean me off with an RC/Virgin cocktail, but that shit is weak, man!
Sometimes my rabid consumerism conflicts with the basic human predicament of actually possessing taste buds.

I find that vanilla coke mixes well with bacardi white rum.

i've become awfully fascinated with the fact that they can't make diet coke with lemon taste like when you squeeze an actual lemon into some diet coke, or vanilla coke taste like when you put vanilla into some coke.

It must have something to do with the limited shelf life of the actual substances involved, because, frankly, the vanilla in Vanilla Coke tastes like it came from a scratch-and-sniff sticker. As for the lemon variant, I have stayed away per your recommendation.

Agreed - very similar to the way that Bacardi Silver tastes like liquid gummi bears.

raza, do you know that the links from this comment page open in this same small window, rather than a new one?

Good call. I've gotten so used to command-clicking links to spawn new windows that I didn't even think of that. There's probably a setting in the Movable Type code ... I'll futz around with it.
